Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to JZE: Journal of Zakat Economics should adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Manuscript Scope

Submitted manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's focus and scope, including topics related to zakat, zakat economics and management, Islamic social finance, philanthropy, poverty alleviation, zakat law and regulation, digitalization of zakat, communication and da'wah of zakat, science and technology for zakat, and other religious social funds (DSKL).

2. Originality

Manuscripts must be original works that have not been published, accepted, or submitted simultaneously to another journal, conference proceeding, or publication.

3. Language

Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using clear, academic, and professional language.

4. Manuscript Format

Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the journal template and ensure that the manuscript includes the following components: title, author(s) name and affiliation, abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review (if applicable), research method, results and discussion, conclusion, and references.

5. References

References should be relevant, up-to-date, and formatted consistently according to the citation style required by the journal. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

6. Ethical Compliance

Authors must comply with publication ethics standards and ensure that all data are authentic, accurate, and properly cited. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or unethical research practice is strictly prohibited.

7. Authorship

All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approved the final manuscript before submission.

8. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Authors should ensure that all required metadata and supplementary files are completed before submission.

9. Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers.

10. Revision and Acceptance

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' and editors' comments. Acceptance for publication is based on the manuscript's academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal.
